Action
40 Days for Life
Forty Days for Life began casually as a small, spontaneous prayer vigil at an abortion facility in College Station, Texas. No thought was given to the prospect of ever repeating it, but it looks like God had other plans. By 2015, 40 Days for Life had grown into a sophisticated worldwide effort with 3,588 local campaigns in 579 cities across 30 nations, involving 650,000 volunteers. Instead of conventional protest, 40 Days campaigns emphasize prayer and fasting, community outreach, and peaceful vigil at known abortion clinics.
